Cars in the Czech Republic are registered in the name of the legal owner of the car. In case of leased vehicles, the leasing company is listed in the registration documents as the owner of the car. The lessee is not listed anywhere in the registration documents. Business Lease handles the registration including the number plate. The costs are included in the investment value.

In case of import or export of a vehicle Business Lease can take care of the title transfer for you.

As Business Lease is fully responsible for the registration of the leased car, the customer does not need to provide any documents at all. The required documents are provided by the dealer, and Business Lease takes care of the whole registration process.

After a full set of documents is provided by a dealer to Business Lease, it usually takes one to two days to register the car.

The current VAT rate is 21%.

• Registration tax is CZK 1500, and it includes number plates and registration documents.
• Road tax in the Czech Republic is according to car motorization from CZK 1200 to CZK 4200 per year.
• Motorway tolls in the Czech Republic are paid in cash and cost CZK 1500 a year.
• Radio tax is charged to every vehicle owner registered in the Czech Republic. The amount of this fixed fee is CZK 45 per month.
